Internship Program

Each summer, the Waves recruit a team of talented, passionate college students and postgrads to navigate us through our summer season, gaining real-life sports industry experience! Our collaborative, project-based program gives students the opportunity to learn and apply their own skillset to tasks and opprotunities within our organization, work with staff and external stakeholders to bring our vision to life, and build strong connections with other professionals within the sports industry. Time with the Waves can be used for class credit and volunteer hours, as we are a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit organization. 

The goal of our organization is to provide collegiate athletes with the opportunity to play summer ball, enhancing their skills on the field while providing them with an environment that fosters a sense of community. We pride ourselves on the collaborative nature that gives each member of our staff the opportunity to grow as professionals, while learning the integral roles of a gameday operation, and the intricacies of the behind-the-scenes work that contributes to the proper functionings of a professional sports organization. A summer with the Waves prepares aspiring professionals for the fast-paced atmosphere of a career in sports, and allows them to grow within their intended field of work to adequately prepare them for a successful career beyond graduation.
