What We Do

"The Ocean State Waves - Where affordable family fun meets quality baseball!"

On The Field:

  • We are providing some of the nations top collegiate talent the opportunity to get noticed by major league scouts and compete in the most competitive summer baseball league in the country! Our athletes come from all across the country to compete in the New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL) in pursuit of their lifelong dreams of playing professional baseball. 
  • We are bringing professional-caliber baseball to the heart of South County at a fraction of the cost.
  • We are recruiting and developing players for eight weeks before they return to their colleges, and even some to the next level!
  • We are giving players the best opportunity to showcase their talent, and putting them in the best position to continue their careers beyond college.
  • We are getting players drafted out of the ballpark every summer! The Waves produce professional talent straight from the ballpark to the big leagues. 

Off The Field:

  • We are fostering a sense of community within our organization and our state; through host families, volunteer opportunities, sponsors and stakeholders, we have built an army of Waves across the state! It truly takes a village, and Little Rhody has provided us with the best one over the last fourteen years.
  • We are teaching our players the importance of giving back, getting involved in the community, and paying it forward. Each summer, our guys fully immerse themselves into our community in a variety of ways, whether it be through our School Reading Program, our Little League camps and clinics, beach cleanups, etc, they spend the majority of their spare time giving back.
  • We are partnering with local businesses and nonprofits within the community to grant more recognition for the smallest state on the national level! Whether it be our website, social media pages, promotions at the ballpark, or our ESPN+ Broadcast that reached over A MILLION VIEWERS WORLDWIDE last summer, we prioritize community involvement and promotional opportunities for our partners with our platforms. 
  • We are providing positive role models for the next generation of athletes and scholars! As our younger fans build relationships with our athletes, they are learning the importance of hard work, goal setting and discipline, and carry out those ideals in their personal pursuits of greatness. Getting involved with the Waves is an experience like no other, one that cannot be replicated in any other experience.
